TANGENT Roll Design LLC was founded by Chuck Summerhill to offer a unique set of services to the roll forming industry - specifically to SUPPLIERS or TOOLING MANUFACTURERS that require complete tooling designs (when overbooked or shorthanded), project based consulting, and design concepts for new projects (quoting) - or to roll forming PRODUCERS that need training services related to tooling improvement programs, tooling design services, or customized services as required.

Services
Roll Form Tooling Design:
- Autocad generated product (section) drawings.
- Roll designs using latest design software.
- CAD files of tooling will be provided (.dwg format).
- Setup Charts provided (when required).
- Straightener and/or custom fixture designs (2D cad).
Quoting / Consulting:
- Assist technicians with roll form tooling or production issues.
- Provide roll tooling concepts & estimated tooling costs for new projects.
- Consulting for new product lines or improvements to existing products - with focus on achieving the "best outcome" for the client.
Training:
- Assist new roll form engineers in tooling design techniques or provide recommendations on designs.
- Provide web or onsite training on roll tooling design concepts or troubleshooting topics customized to the clients particular needs.
Drafting Services:
- Conversion of paper tooling drawings into Autocad format.
- Create Roll Tooling Setup Charts based on tooling drawings.
